Do you allow dogs in the venue?
No, dogs are not permitted in our venue both indoors and outdoors.
Can we come in for a drink only?
Yes! We accept online bookings or over the phone 08 6263 4604 and walk-ins are very welcome. You can visit for just a drink without having to purchase food.
Do I need to make a booking?
We accept walk-ins at any time, you can make bookings online or over the phone 08 6263 4604. Function enquiries can be made by emailing our precinct functions coordinator by emailing functions@thewellard.com.au and view our functions package for options.
When can I pick up my Melaleuka Farm Merchants order?
Produce from our very own Melaleuka Farm can be ordered to enjoy at home. Order online at www.mfmerchants.com.au by midnight Wednesday each week and collect from us, here at the The Wellard from 5pm Thursdays.
Where can I buy Melaleuka Farm produce?
Enjoy our beef from our family farm in North Dandalup, at home. You can purchase produce online at www.mfmerchants.com.au and collect from us, here at The Wellard from 5pm Thursday afternoons.
Is your meat Halal Certified?
Unfortunately due to some recent processing changes, we are unable to be Halal Certified.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we are wheelchair friendly in our entire venue.
Can minors attend?
Our venue operates under a Tavern License, which means that minors can only attend with someone acting in loco parentis (as a guardian or someone who has parental responsibility for the minor). A friend, peer or partner over 18 is not considered acting in loco parentis for a minor.
These are licensing rules and our staff do not have discretion around this rule.
Do you cater to allergies and dietary requirements?
Please advise our staff of any dietary requirements or allergies when booking and placing orders. Our menu features options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets. While we endeavour to accommodate requests for special meals for customers who have food allergies or intolerances, we cannot guarantee completely allergy-free meals and drinks. This is due to the potential of trace allergens in the working environment and supplied ingredients from external suppliers, despite our strict cross contamination processes. Please note our meat is not Halal Certified.
Can I bring a cake or decorations?
Decorations such as balloons are allowed but must not be stuck to any venue surface. Confetti of any kind is not permitted. You are welcome to bring a cake, we can store it and supply side plates and a knife.
Is parking available?
We have plenty of FREE parking available for customers at the front of the venue.
Can I smoke in your venue?
Smoking and vaping is only permitted in our designated smoking area in the front of our venue outdoors.
Do you have a dress code?
Neat dress and footwear are required at all times. Offensive clothing, jackets or insignia resembling gangs or motorcycle gangs is are not permitted. Entry is at the managers discretion.

We have live music in our venue Sundays 1-4pm from spring to autumn. Please see our what’s on section for details.
Kids menus - kids meals
YES! Our kids menu boasts a selection of 5 different kids meals from Nuggets & Chips, Bangers & Mash & Burger & Chips to Spaghetti Bolognese, Fish & Chips, with vegetarian and gluten free options available. All of our kids meals come out as ready which may be before the rest of your order – please advise our staff if this is not desired. View our kids menu here.
